The Problem: Classical music enthusiasts has faced challenges discovering orchestral music events to attend  symphonies, operas, & recitals nearby. By providing a centralized platform for discovering classical music events would simplify the process for users to find and attend live performances based on location, interests, or categories and streamline event organization and reach a larger audience.

Style Tiles

Concentrating on the most defining aspects of websites

UI: How I came up with style elements and respond to user's needs

  • User Preferences – Classical music listeners often appreciate elegance, simplicity, and readability.

  • Competitor Analysis – Studied other music apps (Spotify & EventBrite) to identify strengths and gaps.

  • Visual References – Explored classical concert posters and Symphony Hall's website aesthetics for inspiration.

💡 Initial Direction:

  • Elegant typography (e.g., serif fonts for a sophisticated feel)

  • Beige-themed UI with gold/cream accents for a premium experience

  • High-contrast, minimalistic layout for easy navigation

Overall, By iterating based user's needs and behaviors, I achieved a design that is both aesthetically refined and highly functional for classical music lovers.

    • Considering user's prospective when interacting with your design

  • Prioritize which details to include on an event screen (Map, Availability, Program, Past events)

    • Determining which details matter most ensuring users get the most important information first.

  • Take into account how it will all flow together for a seamless experience while designing wireframes

    • Strengthening UX skills such as prioritization, user empathy, and balancing complexity with usability

  • Pay attention to font pairings, hierarchy, and whitespace to create balance.

Let's embark on a creative journey together and bring your ideas to life.
